Service Technician

As a Service Technician at Woodman Controls Company, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving the systems that keep our clients’ buildings running efficiently. If you’re a personable professional with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer care, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on building automation systems to keep clients' equipment running at peak efficiency and meet service contract obligations.
• Diagnose and repair defective parts and resolve system issues during service calls.
• Start up and commission retrofit projects.
• Complete system upgrades and firmware updates as needed.
• Help clients optimize operations and improve energy efficiency.
• Work under the direction of the Service Manager to fulfill service contracts.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Prior experience in HVAC, building automation, or a related field, with solid HVAC knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Nice to Have (We’ll Train You)

• Controls programming and networking experience (Tridium/Niagara).
• Technical school or college coursework or degree.
